We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in working with SEN students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical food technology lessons that inspire and motivate all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality food technology lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and support students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
  • Experience teaching food technology, preferably with SEN experience.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting SEN students.
