We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our schools team, focusing on delivering high-quality science education to students with special educational needs (SEN). This role is ideal for a compassionate individual who is either a qualified teacher or an unqualified teacher with relevant experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Assess and record students' progress, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN specialists to enhance instructional activities and learning experiences.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for science.
- Experience in teaching science, preferably to SEN students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but not mandatory for candidates with significant teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of the specific needs of SEN students and the ability to cater to these effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.
