Transport Manager, Days:

Location: London.

Salary Range: 45k to 50k.

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm.

Working for a fast-growing and award-winning London based food company looking foran experienced Transport Manager:

Main Tasks of the Job:
  1. Planning and Scheduling: Planning routes and delivery times and working with suppliers and customers.
  2. Vehicle maintenance: Ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, including arranging repairs and routine maintenance.
  3. Driver management: Ensuring drivers have the correct qualifications and documents, and that they follow regulations.
  4. Team management: Managing and organizing training for drivers, administrators, and supervisors.
  5. Contract management: Managing performance and ensuring targets are met.
  6. Performance reporting: Putting together performance reports
  7. Ensure adequate training is given to all transport teams.
  8. Compliance: Maintaining Health and Safety Compliance.
  9. Ensure accurate completion of timesheets, tachographs, and other driver records.
  10. Ensure the economical and efficient use of transport.
  11. Liaising with drivers, managers, clients and security to ensure the above tasks are completed effectively.
  12. Liaise collaboratively with Customer Service to improve customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 5-10 years of experience working in Transport.
  2. Has experience managing deliveries to high-end hotels, restaurants and VIP households.
  3. Familiar with London, Birmingham, and Manchester routes/areas.
  4. Ability to create budget, performance, and productivity reports.
  5. Experience dealing directly with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
  6. Road Safety and Highway Code exposure in previous roles.
