Reed Recruitment is excited to represent a leading company in search of dedicated Machine Operators to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work in the Finishing & Inspection Section of the production facility.
- Set up machines in accordance with the allocated Job Sheet.
- Monitor machines for any irregularities during operation.
- Ensure quality control of the finished product, verifying it meets the specifications outlined in the blueprints or job sheets.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to ensure continuous operation.
- Adhere to all safety rules, including regular machine maintenance and maintaining a clean work area.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
- Provide cover for other staff in Dispatch and other sections as required.
- Undertake other relevant duties as needed within the production facility.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Manual handling and lifting capabilities.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Willingness to undergo training from Monday to Thursday for 4 to 6 weeks to ensure competency before moving to the weekend shift.
