Caretaker Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general maintenance and caretaker duties to ensure the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Carry out routine repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Monitor and manage school security, including locking and unlocking premises.
  • Respond promptly to any emergency situations and carry out Health and Safety checks.
  • Liaise with school staff to understand and address specific maintenance needs.

Caretaker Requirements:

  • Proven experience in caretaking or maintenance work.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally local to Rhymney, South Wales.
