Key Account Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to a thriving company. This role is pivotal in achieving commercial objectives with one or more key customers across all products. The successful candidate will manage and develop a portfolio of key account customers, conduct commercial negotiations, and strive to renew existing contracts while developing new agreements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and develop daily commercial activities, including prospecting and recruiting new customers (OE or IAM) to achieve assigned budget objectives.
- Identify new opportunities with existing products and promote new technologies to ensure continuous growth in turnover.
- Oversee negotiations on product prices, contracts, and agreements to ensure profitability aligns with objectives.
- Negotiate performance plans and manage the request for quotes process.
- Lead the definition of prices and analyze market and competition data.
- Support sales analysis and provide a 3-month forecast against budget on a monthly basis in format.
- Manage budget, and figures for clients under your responsibility.
- Represent the company in a general capacity and work closely with the Project and R&D departments to align sales strategies with company innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Specializing in international business or management.
- At least 5 years’ professional experience in a similar sales position.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and a good command of sales techniques.
- Mastery of sales cycles and the ability to build complex offers.
- Pragmatic, autonomous approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP and CRM systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A passion for the automotive industry and technical parts is highly advantageous.
