Your new company
A leading manufacturer, based in Tredegar is looking to appoint an experienced Production Planner. Having recently gone through a top-down business transformation, this strategic role has been identified as the next role to be added to their manufacturing team.

Your new role
As the Production Planner, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, providing the internal communications between the Production, Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement teams. You will be expected to develop the short term, medium term and long term forecasts for the business, whilst ensuring that the master schedule is consistently maintained. You will be expected to manage the MRP and ERP systems in place; currently they use SAP. You will be expected to investigate any production shortages and work closely with the Production team to ensure the plan matches the capacity of the machinery output.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Production Planner role, you must have a proven track record of working within planning roles inside a factory / production setting. Ideally, you'll have worked with SAP previously but experience with alternative MRP / ERP software will still be considered. Having clear communication skills will be critical in the success of your application for this Production Planner vacancy.

What you'll get in return
As the Production Planner, you'll be paid a salary of up to 35,000 and will be given a range of company benefits.
