Your new school This school is a mixed 3 - 18 comprehensive school based in Blaenau Gwent. The school has high teaching standards and encourages the pupils to express themselves while constantly looking for improvement and excellence.Your new role Starting as soon as possible, you will join a busy Music and Drama department within the school. Roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Teaching KS3 - KS5.
- Nurture a range of learning abilities.
- Staff meetings.
- Parent's evenings.
- Pastoral responsibilities.
- Planning and preparation of lessons.
- Marking and assessment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience.
- Proven track record of helping students.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council.
- Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience of teaching Music and Drama up to A-level.
