Your new school This school is a mixed 3 - 18 comprehensive school based in Blaenau Gwent. Roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Nurture a range of learning abilities.
  • Staff meetings.
  • Parent's evenings.
  • Pastoral responsibilities.
  • Planning and preparation of lessons.
  • Marking and assessment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience.
  • Proven track record of helping students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council.
  • Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Experience of teaching Music and Drama up to A-level.
