Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm which is a minimum 50 hours a week with plenty of additional overtime available on weekendsHere at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Fabricator/Welder to work for a company based in Tredegar of a full time and permanent contract.Main Job Roles

  • ?Competently carrying out TIG, MIG and MMA welding on all metals, including mild steel and stainless steel(advantage if able to work with aluminium).
  • Ability to work from drawings supplied and draw up work from site visits and fabricate as needed - includingcompleting all necessary paperwork.
  • Inspect all components, to ensure they have been completed to a high standard.
  • Must be a good team player, however, also able to work using your own initiative.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures and wearing the correct uniform and PPE.
  • Keep a neat and tidy workspace.

Required

  • NVQ3 welding qualification (minimum).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Experience with hand-held and power tools to assist work.
  • MIG & TIG experience
  • Willing to work overtime and most weekends
  • Willingness to work at height as part of our operation. This could be either on scaffolding, ladders, orpowered machines (such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts etc).
