Our globally established client is looking for someone who can assist in the role of managing, maintaining and improving power tool components.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate an attitude of continuous improvement (Kaizen) and cooperation within the department. 
  • Take on other reasonable tasks when requested by the department manager. 
  • Ensure the department and surrounding environment is clean and tidy promoting 5S, activities. 
  • Compliance with all procedures and regulations. For example, SOX, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 
  • Ensure suppliers are managed so all tooling is maintained, repaired/refurbished and replaced when required. 
  • Be pro-active, challenging and determined to understand and eliminate the root cause of problems. 
  • Communicate clearly and concisely at all business levels, both verbally and written. 
  • Perform component trials. 
  • Apply the full Component Approval Procedure requirements in order to ensure the correct component. 
  • specification and quality are achieved and maintained. 
  • Component trials on assembly lines.
