Supply Desk is seeking a committed and skilled SEN Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a supportive and inclusive primary/secondary school in Tring. Role Details:

  • Full-time position working with SEN students within a mainstream setting across Key Stages 1-4.
  • Long-term role with opportunities for career progression.
  • Plan and deliver individualised learning strategies for students with SEN, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement effective intervention strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that supports academic and personal development.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching and supporting students with SEN in a mainstream school.
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons to suit individual needs.
  • Is passionate about inclusive education and ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Is flexible, patient, and committed to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
