I am looking for an Production Manager who will be required to manage and co-ordinate the activities of up to 70 manufacturing personnel to achieve production metrics including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement, while optimizing the manufacturing process for increased productivity.
You will report to the Head of Timber Frames and will be required to ensure that all orders are manufactured and dispatched in a timely fashion and to ensure that all operational, administration, H & S and business controls are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of timber frame and or roof trusses with a proven track record in good manufacturing practice and lean principles.
You will ensure that quality, service and safety goals are achieved, while leading a workforce of up to 70 and managing manufacturing at the site.
Ideally you will have 5 Years experience operating at a similar level within a manufacturing facility.
You will have the ability to engage with a design team to ensure manufacturing is optimised and on time delivery achieved; and can engage and motivate production teams.
