Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a maternity cover role in Ayrshire. As a leading manufacturer, you will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for the effective management of both purchase and sales ledgers. You will handle invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, job costing, and assist with financial statement preparations, playing a crucial role within a dynamic finance team.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchase ledger
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Sage accounting software or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Organizational and teamwork skills
- Desirable: experience within a manufacturing environment and ERP systems
