Maintenance Fitters – South Ayrshire

SRS Partnership is on the lookout for experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our client's dynamic team in South Ayrshire. If you're ready for a new challenge with a competitive salary and great benefits, keep reading!

Salary: Up to £44k
Shifts: 4/4, 12-hour shifts (6-6, days/nights)

As part of the maintenance team, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with a skilled team to keep everything in top condition. Your role will be key in minimising downtime and ensuring the plant is operates at peak efficiency!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responding to plant downtime 
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as needed
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues 
  • Assisting with summer and winter overhauls (because we don’t let anything go unhandled!)
  • Engaging in continuous improvement activities and discussions
  • Completing work permits and sticking to all health and safety protocols
  • Building relationships with various teams across the business

What We Need from You:

  • Fully qualified 
  • Proven experience in a heavy mechanical engineering environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A collaborative spirit who enjoys working with a variety of teams
  • Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently
