Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job in Wiltshire (3-4 days per week if required, can be flexible)
Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job available, working for multi-disciplinary consultancy, that provide services across heritage and old buildings. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have experience in both Mechanical & Electrical practices, for a large stately home project.
They are now looking for an M&E Clerk of Works to join the team in Wiltshire to work on a large stately home projects. Please note the role is sit based, and you will effectively be the eyes and ears for the clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure the high standards of quality and compliance
- Inspect ongoing works that align with the project specifications
- Maintain a details progress diary, recording all factors contributing to the specific project, on a weekly basis
- Perform snagging/pre-handover inspections and end-of-defects inspections as necessary
- Prepare and submit comprehensive site visit reports
- Attend and actively contribute to site meetings.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally, recognised Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualifications
- MICWCI/LICWCI/ICWCI/CIOB/RICS is preferred
- IT Literate
- Full UK Driving License.
The client would potentially consider candidates that want to work 3/4 days a week, rather than a full week.
