Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job in Wiltshire (3-4 days per week if required, can be flexible)

Mechanical & Electrical Clerk of Works job available, working for multi-disciplinary consultancy, that provide services across heritage and old buildings.  Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have experience in both Mechanical & Electrical practices, for a large stately home project. 

They are now looking for an M&E Clerk of Works to join the team in Wiltshire to work on a large stately home projects. Please note the role is sit based, and you will effectively be the eyes and ears for the clients. 


Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure the high standards of quality and compliance
  • Inspect ongoing works that align with the project specifications
  • Maintain a details progress diary, recording all factors contributing to the specific project, on a weekly basis
  • Perform snagging/pre-handover inspections and end-of-defects inspections as necessary
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive site visit reports
  • Attend and actively contribute to site meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ideally, recognised Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualifications
  • MICWCI/LICWCI/ICWCI/CIOB/RICS is preferred
  • IT Literate
  • Full UK Driving License.

The client would potentially consider candidates that want to work 3/4 days a week, rather than a full week.
