Reed is representing a client in Trowbridge who is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department at a leading automotive dealership. This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment with extensive training and development opportunities. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive service experience.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and document them accurately.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports to customers.
  • Clearly explain recommended repairs and services to customers.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services.
  • Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
  • A valid driving licence is required.
