Reed is representing a client in Trowbridge who is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department at a leading automotive dealership. Day-to-day of the role:- Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive service experience.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and document them accurately.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports to customers.
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and services to customers.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services.
- Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- A valid driving licence is required.
