Randstad Education is working with a school located at Trowbridge that offers exceptional learning spaces where children can flourish through nature-based and individualised learning.

We are seeking a teaching assistant who is empathetic, resilient, and eager to work with children, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The students are energetic and curious, and they need someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and ready to make a meaningful impact in their development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum

  • Help with the planning and preparation of classroom activities

  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment for students Monitor and assess student progress and provide one-on-one support when needed

  • Participate in weekly learning trips to enhance students' learning experience

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in the UK

  • A strong passion for education and supporting children's development

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

  • Must provide 2 professional references.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
