I am delighted to work with a leading manufacturing business near Trowbridge, Wiltshire to help them recruit a HR Manager. This position supports a manufacturing site of 250 people, and is a great opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to join a successful organisation and provide pragmatic and commercial advice to the business.

As the site HR Manager, you will report into the Operations Director in a truely generalist position with a blend of strategic and operational HR, you will ensure that the business complies with employment law and best practice, as well as providing advice and direction on the people strategy. A large part of the role is to support and lead on employee relation case work ensuring you are providing informed, commercial and solutions focused HR support whilst also mitigating risk to the business.

Main Duties will include:

* Providing solutions focused HR support and advice across all areas of the employee lifecyle from onboarding, through the employee lifecycle to exit.
* Setting the people agenda ensuring its in line with overall company objectives.
* Lead on all change management activity to include restructures, redundancy and TUPE.
* Updating of HR policy and procedures inline with changes in employment law.
* All employee relation case work, coaching, advising and upskilling managers on performance management, disciplinary and grievance.
* Preparing case work for Employment Tribunals
* Ensuring that the HR system is continually updated and runs effectively liaising with technical support and consultancy as appropriate, with support from an HR administrator.
* Provide and lead on specific HR research and project work.


Skills Required

* Proven HR generalist experience with site based manufacturing experience.
* Ability to operate at a strategic and operational level.
* Extensive expertise in all areas of Employee Relations to include complex case work.
* Practical understanding of consultation, restructuring and TUPE.
* Up to date Employment law knowledge.
* CIPD qualified or relevant practical experience.

This is a full-time role on site with a 2:30pm finish on a Friday. I'm looking for someone collaberative, hard working and driven by stakeholder maangement and relationship building.
