We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Trowbridge, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a temporary, 2-month contract. The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is between £20-£22 p/hour, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD L3 qualified, experienced dealing with employee relations matters including absences, performance management as well as supporting with investigations and hearings.

Key duties will include - but not limited to:

  • Advising on a wide range of employee relations cases including short-term and long-term absence, capability, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Coaching managers throughout the whole ER process to ensure compliance, thoroughness, transparency and fairness
  • Guiding managers so they are able to carry out thorough investigations and write comprehensive reports, coaching them on the best course of action when initial allegations arise
  • Preparing template letters, scripts, documents and notes to support ER cases
  • Supporting sensitive exits, which may involve settlement agreements
  • Working closely with the Talent acquisition adviser to support managers through the recruitment and selection process to ensure our policy is followed
  • Acting as the first point of contact to Managers for all HR related queries

Working hours:

  • 37 hrs/week
  • Flexible and Hybrid working (4 days WFH)
