In this role, you'll be key in delivering high-impact procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships for a thriving organisation with ambitious decarbonisation and customer-first goals.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee the procurement lifecycle across direct services and lead a small but dynamic team of procurement professionals.
Previous experience with the procurement of breakdown and repair services, vehicle acquisition and hire, and spare parts would be highly beneficial for this role.
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week required on-site in Wiltshire.Â
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing competitive tender frameworks to deliver value, mitigate risks, and source innovative solutions.
- Negotiating and managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate governance.
- Conducting market research to identify cost-efficient propositions and future-proof strategies.
- Supporting the business’s commitment to decarbonisation goals through innovative supplier partnerships.
- Managing and developing a team to deliver exceptional procurement outcomes.
- Proven experience in a procurement environment, with a track record of delivering results in tendering and contract management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to thrive in a competitive, target-driven industry.
- People management experience with a passion for developing and inspiring your team.
- CIPS qualifications (or a desire to complete them) are ideal but not essential.
- Automotive, fleet management, or vehicle leasing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to bring innovation and fresh ideas to procurement processes.
