Omega is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities – Site Manager
- Develop contract programmes from preliminary production targets.
- Prepare materials delivery schedules.
- Liaise with sub-contractors to adhere to agreed timetables.
- Manage and control all site operatives, sub-contractors, and resources, prioritizing safety.
- Ensure high standards of conduct and workmanship.
- Coordinate material orders and liaise with the buying department.
- Verify deliveries, report deficiencies, and maintain site records.
- Comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and stay updated on legislative requirements.
- Liaise with professional consultants and advisors.
- Adhere to the Company’s Disciplinary and Grievance policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience – Site Manager
- Experience in managing new build housing construction from inception to completion.
- Competence in project planning, site Health & Safety, and commercial awareness.
- Strong people management, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- Relevant First Aid Qualification.
- NVQ Level 6/7.
- Valid Scaffold Appreciation Certificate.
- Valid LOLER certificate.
- CPCS Telehandler licence.
