We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including those with specific health conditions. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance in their daily activities.

  • Tracheostomy Care & Airway Management

Candidates must be trained in routine and emergency tracheostomy care, including suctioning, dressing changes, and recognising signs of infection or obstruction.

  • Tracheostomy Tube Change

Carers must be skilled in performing planned tracheostomy tube changes.

  • Ventilator Management (NIPPY 4+ & Humidification System)

Staff should be competent in operating and troubleshooting the NIPPY 4+ ventilator.

  • Manual Handling & Safe Hoist T

Carers need experience using hoists and slings to safely transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and other seating positions.

  • Gastrostomy (PEG) Care & Medication Administration

Candidates must be familiar with administering medications and fluids via a gastrostomy (PEG) tube, ensuring correct dosage, flushing techniques, and infection control.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects.
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist in meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents.
  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate changes in patient conditions to healthcare professionals.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
