Our client are seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join a leading in vitro diagnostics (IVD) company, focused on developing high-quality diagnostic solutions that improve patient outcomes.

As the Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating electro-mechanical components for their medical diagnostic devices, including developing and refining sensors, actuators, and other key electromechanical elements that ensure our devices meet the highest standards of accuracy and durability.

You will also play a critical role in documentation and reporting, contributing to project schematics, technical reports, and operational manuals that support product development and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical components for diagnostic devices, focusing on reliability, functionality, and ease of use.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of sensors, actuators, and other components to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including schematics, test protocols, technical reports, and operational manuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in electro-mechanical engineering for medical devices.

You must have proven experience proven experience with sensors, actuators, and other critical electro-mechanical components, strong familiarity with project documentation requirements, including schematics, technical reports, and operational manuals and also be proficient in CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
