About the role: As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you'll oversee various enforcement cases, ensuring compliance with planning policies. You'll undertake investigations into alleged breaches of planning laws, covering areas such as listed buildings, advertisements, and protected trees.

Key Responsibilities:• To deliver high quality sustainable development in accordance with the DevelopmentPlan.• To control unauthorised development and, when expedient to do so, to enforce planning rules and regulations against inappropriate unauthorized development.

Requirements: We're looking for a Planning Officer with a degree in a relevant field or significant experience in investigative or regulatory roles, along with knowledge of planning practice and legislation. You should have expertise in planning or historic building conservation and post-qualification experience in the public or private sector, including representing an organisation at planning inquiries and managing appeal statements.
