Join the UK’s largest schoolwear supplier as a Quality Control Specialist. We are dedicated to producing sustainable, affordable, and high-quality schoolwear. In this role, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality through meticulous inspection and effective collaboration with our Design and Buying teams.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Inspect products upon delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Write detailed inspection reports, highlighting issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Manage visual inspections and colour consistency across product ranges.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer feedback, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Conduct investigations on customer returns and provide timely feedback to relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and quality control activities.
  • Support the Design and Buying teams with product development tasks.
  • Manage the Quality Control mailbox and handle ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Confidence in working independently and making decisive approval decisions.
  • Experience in handling pressure and adhering to routine processes.
  • Strong time management and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Experience in Quality Control is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of garment construction and pattern understanding is beneficial.
