My client one of the country’s leading firms of Independent Financial Advisers with funds under management of over £1 Billion. is looking for a paraplanner/financial report writer based in Truro, Cornwall.

The successful applicant for the paraplanner/financial report writer role will enjoy a great package with the following benefits: -

  • Basic salary £ £32,500 to £35,000
  • 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays)
  • Pension - 3% employer and 5% employee
  • Death in Service
  • The option for remote working. (after completion of probation period).

The role of the financial report requires: -

  • The need for Writers to distal complex information into clear, concise reports.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the financial industry to deliver confident writing at multiple levels of sophistication.
  • Accuracy: Ensuring all data and analysis are accurate is crucial, as errors can lead to significant consequences.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Writer must be familiar with financial regulations and ensure reports comply with these standards.
  • Timeliness: Financial reports need to be produced under tight deadlines, requiring efficient time management.
  • Audience Understanding: Balancing technical details with readability for a diverse audience, including stakeholders who may not have a financial background.

The ideal candidate for the paraplanner/ financial report adviser position should ideally have: -

  • A good standard of written English
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Well versed in a wide range of financial products and accustomed to describing financial markets, products, and economic activity in clear, direct language
  • The ability to adjust tone and message to audiences across the spectrum of financial sophistication, from institutions and financial advisers to plan sponsors and individuals
  • Experience in business writing, technical writing, or journalism
  • Extensive knowledge of financial trends, concepts, and terminologies
  • Excellent in research and time management
  • Resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a hectic environment
  • Results-driven, highly collaborative
  • The ability to interact with a diverse group of senior stakeholders.
