HGV Class 2 Driver Full-Time, Temp-to-Permanent Position (Truro)
We are seeking aphysically fit and reliable HGV Class 2 Driverto join a friendly team nearTruro. This is afull-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who is committed to providing excellent customer service while delivering construction materials to businesses and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely deliver construction materials to business customers, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Conduct routinevehicle safety checksand maintenance, adhering to company and legal safety standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the vehicle.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.
- Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interactions with clients are handled professionally and courteously.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Valid CPC(Certificate of Professional Competence) and HGV Class 2 license.
- Proven experience in delivering to business clients, preferably within the construction industry.
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading construction materials when necessary.
- A strong focus on safety and reliability.
- Excellent time management andcustomer service skills.
- Must be proactive in carrying outroutine safety checkson the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
