A leading premium care home in Truro has a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RMN) to join them as their Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead.

This home was purpose-built to provide the top level of specialist nursing, residential and dementia care. The interior has memory-friendly techniques fully incorporated throughout to aid independence around the home, and is richly furnished across all social and private spaces for utmost comfort and luxury. As Deputy Manager, you will be the Clinical Lead for the home, working closely with the General Manager to monitor regulatory compliance, oversee clinical practice and development, and assure quality throughout – including directly on the floor, delivering hands-on care. The home currently has a fully “Good” CQC rating and, with your support, will be looking forward to becoming “Outstanding”.

Your leadership will help ensure each resident gets the best health support and home experience possible, maximising quality of life. This is a permanent, full-time position for a Deputy Manager (Clinical Lead) at a luxury care home.

 

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • (Essential) Experience caring for older adults with complex health needs.
  • (Essential) Leadership experience – e.g. conducting risk assessments and investigations, managing a budget, and supporting the development of a clinical team.
