Working either full-time hours or on a part-time basis.

Specific Responsibilities* Taking will and Lasting Power of Attorney instructions from clients across Devon and Cornwall in person, as well as via video call. * Preparing wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and associated documents following instructions taken. * Liaising with clients regarding amendments required to documents and internally with other staff members to organise the preparation of final physical documents. * Identifying other legal or financial planning needs and referring to other professionals accordingly.

General Responsibilities* Dealing with email enquiries.* Greeting clients and arranging refreshments if meeting out of hours.* Maintaining a GDPR compliant and professional office environment.* Attending marketing events.* Making sure you follow the firm's compliance processes and procedures at all times.* Making sure all client contact is carried out in a professional and courteous way, as well as in a timely manner.* Making sure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.* Liaising with other will writers, financial advisers, administrators and third parties as appropriate.* Maintain client records and update client information on back-office systems to keep an effective audit trail.

Relevant Experience, Skills and Knowledge

We expect an individual performing this role to meet the following criteria:

* A relevant will writing qualification and at least 1 year experience in a will writing or instruction taking role* Full UK driving licence* Strong IT skills and ability to work with Windows and Microsoft systems

* Familiarity with Arken Will Writing software.* Proactive communication * Problem solving and ability to prioritise* Teamwork and collaboration* Adaptability* Work ethic
