Are you a passionate and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant that's ready to embark on a new challenge? Or are you a recent teaching graduate that's eager to gain hands-on experience within an educational setting?

Join our team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants at Vision for Education and become an integral part of our client schools in Cornwall. As a dedicated HLTA, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing student growth through one-on-one and group support, as well as whole-class teaching opportunities and opportunities to collaborate with teachers to facilitate lesson planning and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers in preparing and organising educational resources.
  • Whole-class teaching across the key stages in primary school
  • Enhance student learning experience by assisting with lesson delivery and setting up for the day.
  • Provide valuable insights to teachers regarding student progress and development.
  • Contribute to adapting teaching strategies based on student feedback.
  • Be a supportive presence during breaktimes.

Requirements:

  • Be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
  • A real passion for working with young people
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Recent teaching experience
  • Level 4 qualified or higher.
