Position: Human Resources Manager

Location:Veryan, Near Truro

Full-time- Monday to Friday

Permanent Salary: 32,000 - 35,000per year, plus gratuities and non-contractual bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations whilst maintaining the Hotel Brand in a traditional, unassuming, and appropriate manner
  • The Hotel Brand to be understood, projected, supported, and implemented throughout all operations
  • Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and oversee performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers and team members
  • Resolve employee relations issues and mediate conflicts, promoting a fair and respectful work environment with support of external HR service provider
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge- approx 100 employees
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance overall employee experience

Requirements:

  • Diploma Level 2 +in Human Resources
  • Proven experience as an HR professional, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritisetasks and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite
