Applicants will require their own vehicle and will be suitably compensated for business travel.
Working closely alongside an experienced HR Manager (also introduced by Well Placed HR), and ultimately reporting to the company’s HR Director, this will be a broad and varied role where the successful candidate will ultimately assume the role of HR Business Partner, overseeing responsibilities for other areas of the business and deputising for the HR Manager each week. Key responsibilities to include:
- Ensure compliance with all employment legislation, reviewing existing and in some cases, implementing new procedures and company policy
- Play a key role in the company’s recruitment processes, which may include the recruitment of oversees staff and reporting to the Home Office. This will entail working with department managers in the design of effective recruitment campaigns, interviewing, onboarding and induction
- Attend a range of HRM meetings, drafting minutes where required
- Assist with a range of people management projects, designing and implementing new initiatives where required
- Ensure that documentation is correctly filed and records are well maintained
The role calls for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong understanding of employment law, legislation and general employee relations. A sound knowledge of HRM policymaking and development will be essential. The successful candidate will ideally (though not essentially), be qualified to CIPD level 5 though vocational experience and a confidence to undertake often sensitive cases are our clients key desirable. The business is technology focussed so a good working IT aptitude and the ability to rasp bespoke people management tools essential.
