Working at Tregothnan is being part of Cornwall’s heritage and its modern future.The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch & Warehouse Operative, to join our friendly team.Duties include:- Pick, pack and despatch orders from pick lists, ensuring all items are correct for customer orders.- Ensure deliveries are checked against delivery notes, batch numbers listed where required, and deliveries are put away in designated areas.- Liaise with and assist Production Operatives to ensure products are processed ready for despatch.- Organise logistics for products that go on pallets for different warehouses.- Work collaboratively with the Office & Production Manager to ensure Safe and Local Supplier Approval (SALSA) compliance, with specific responsibility for production elements of SALSA e.g. blend records, hard plastic checks, scale calibration, cleaning records, etc.- As we are a small team, you will also support the team: to pack tea, keep the warehouse tidy, undertake checks for audits, and stock and serve customers in the on-site shop.About YouYou will need:- Previous production and despatch experience.- A flexible attitude to work and willingness to change tasks as and when required.- The ability to work on your own using initiative, and also as part of a team.- The ability to follow procedure.- A high degree of attention to detail.- Good communication skills, and a positive and professional attitude.- Good literacy and IT skills.- A full UK driving licence and own transport, as we are in a rural location with no access to public transport.Benefits- Salary of £23,400pa, depending on experience.- 37.5 hrs pw, Mon-Fri, 7.5 hrs per day.
