Join my client, a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary chartered practice in Cornwall, as a Town Planner / Senior Planner. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing significant opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Day-to-day of the role:- Contribute to a wide variety of planning projects, from high-end residential developments to renewable energy developments.
- Collaborate with in-house teams of planners, architects, and landscape architects to deliver a fully integrated approach to development.
- Guide projects seamlessly from concept to completion, ensuring all planning permissions are secured, even for challenging sites.
- Engage in client-facing activities, providing expert advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Planning degree or relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a town planning role.
- Working towards, or willing to work towards, Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
- Strong client-facing experience.
- Critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organised, flexible, proactive, and professional with a commercial mindset.
- Enthusiastic about working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Competitive salary: £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
