Our client, a niche B Corp certified business services law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their team in Truro. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive individual to contribute to the firm's continued success.

Position Overview

The Employment Solicitor will provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of employment matters, supporting clients that include employers, directors and senior employees. The role involves delivering client-focused solutions and representing the firm professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on employment contracts, tribunal claims and settlement agreements

  • Provide guidance on TUPE, corporate support and workplace HR matters

  • Deliver clear, commercially-minded solutions and advice to clients

  • Build professional networks and represent the firm effectively

  • Collaborate with colleagues while working independently when required

Requirements
  • Qualified employment solicitor or equivalent qualification

  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law

  • Confident and proactive in advising clients on employment matters

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Interest in business development and network building
