A respected regional contractor based in Cornwall are searching for a motivated and skilled SMSTS Site Manager to join the business. They are predominantly involved in projects across Education, Leisure, Healthcare and Commercial however they do also get involved in projects in other sectors.
This company is privately owned and undertakes new build & refurbishment projects to both public and private sector buildings. Projects range from £500K to £5 M and include D&B and traditional forms of contract.
Job role/criteria:
This position is for an experienced Site Manager who will be responsible for:
Precise and cost effective pre-start planning of development sites.
Securing the construction of commercial projects within completed programmes and budgets.
Adhering to company safety, quality and presentation standards.
Always maintaining good relationships to uphold the reputation of the company as a whole.
Making sure Health & Safety is paramount on site.
Education and Experience
Extensive experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor.
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of the New Build, Refurbishment and Commercial sectors.
Loyal employment history
Excellent team management skills
SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS
NVQ Level 4 or Similar
