Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Highly respected manufacturer based near Truro, Cornwall is looking to recruit a permanent Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Design and development of new and existing products, including the mechanical and electrical aspects.

· Leading projects and investigations, autonomously and as part of a team.

· Audit of new and existing internal processes.

· Technical mentorship of junior members of the team.

· To produce and check CAD drawings, electrical Schematics, wiring diagrams, documentations, and technical reports.

· To manage outsourced work with suppliers and subcontractors.

· To understand and improve on the current product range design.

Skills and experience required:

· 5-10 years' experience in the Engineering/Product design sector.

· Electrical circuit design of low voltage single and 3 phase circuits.

· Working knowledge of the Low Voltage Directive.

· Mechanical design (ideally sheet metal/pipework).

· Design for manufacture.

· CAD (ideally SolidWorks).
