Our Local Authority Client are seeking a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their Disabled Children's Therapy Service in Mid and West Cornwall.

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

3 month initial contract with the view of extension

£26p/h (Potentially negotiable dependent on experience)

Truro, Cornwall

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and the specific needs of the child.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
  • Educate and train parents, caregivers, and family members on techniques to support the child's development at home.
  • Assess and evaluate the occupational therapy needs of children with disabilities, aged 0-18 years.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Experience of working with children
  • Experience of Equipment and Adaptations
