  • Are qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent (NMC, etc.)
  • Have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in your clinical field
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong IT and typing skills to efficiently manage case documentation and reports
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a PIP Disability Assessor, your role will include:
  • Conducting functional assessments for adult claimants applying for PIP
  • Assessing how a person’s condition affects daily living and mobility
  • Writing clear, detailed, evidence-based reports to help inform PIP decisions
  • Engaging with claimants in a professional, compassionate, and supportive manner
  • Working independently, while also collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Utilizing IT systems for report writing, case management, and maintaining accurate records
