Working at Tregothnan is being part of Cornwall’s heritage and its modern future.The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator. You will support the Land and Property Team, working closely with the two other administrators, within a friendly and busy office. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a varied role, in a fast-paced environment, and want to learn about property management administration. Duties include: - Providing administrative support and diary management to the team.- Answering the telephone, taking calls from tenants, contractors and general estate enquiries, and ensuring these are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.- Distributing incoming post and franking daily mail. Receiving and dispatching parcel deliveries.- Maintenance of the property database and rent generation.- Management of rental debtors and collection of rent.- Preparation of correspondence, tenancy agreements, property particulars and tender packs. - Ensuring paperwork and agreements are filed accurately and the filing kept up to date. - Preparing legal documents for signature, binding and sending legal documents.- Maintenance and updating of the letting profile and particulars on our website.- Co-ordinating contractors to undertake emergency and planned repairs to the property portfolio in Cornwall and raising purchase orders.- Undertaking insurance renewal checks of all contractors and with the implementation of the contractor protocols.About YouYou will need:- 5 GCSEs, including Level 4 Maths and English (or equivalent).- Extensive administrative and customer-service experience, preferably with legal secretary and/or property management experience.- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and a high degree of attention to detail.- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database management.- Excellent timekeeping.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional attitude, polite and good levels of personal presentation.- Flexible and positive attitude.- Capable of working to the highest standards with integrity, discretion and good humour.- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.- Full UK driving licence and own transport to travel to and from work, as we are in a rural location, with no access to public transport.Benefits- 35 hrs pw, Mon-Fri, 9.00am-5.00pm (please note this position is 100% office-based and there is no flexibility to work part-time)- 21 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays- Health care cash back plan.- Discount scheme with high street and online retailers.- Salary sacrifice homeware, tech and cycle to work schemes.NotesTo apply for this position: please click 'Apply'; complete and upload the ’Applicant Screening Questions’ (see 'Documents’ tab), and your CV.
