Vision for Education is currently seeking multiple English Teachers to join a secondary school in the Truro area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students across a range of year groups. You will collaborate with other teaching staff, contribute to the development of lesson plans, and ensure that the highest standards of teaching are maintained. This position will begin on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students
• Support and guide students in their learning and development
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and effective learning environment
• Maintain effective communication with staff members and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Requirements

To be considered for the English Teacher position, you should:

• Possess a strong understanding of how children learn
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students
• Exhibit a positive and proactive approach to teaching and continuous professional development
• Be well-organised, punctual, and adaptable
• Have a commitment to promoting inclusion and equity in education
• Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is required
