What the client is looking for:

The school is looking for an experienced TA to assist with their KS2 classroom. The individual will have experience and flexibility to support and cover the whole class for PPA. The ability and work ethic to be part of a small team, and contribute to the success of pupil outcome. The successful candidate would ideally understand the importance of nurture and getting to know our children in this small village primary school. The role will include breakfast club and after school provision. This role is offering full time hours (34.5) per week on a fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment

- Support students in their academic and personal development

- Help with classroom management and behaviour strategies

- Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher

- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff

- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects

- A willingness to learn and develop professionally

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
