- Experience in a similar support role within a mental health or social care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- An understanding of support needs and support planning.
- Experience of risk assessing and risk management.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of clients
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to providing support
- Understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment protocols
- Diploma or degree in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Certification in Mental Health First Aid or relevant training
- Valid DBS clearance and professional registration (if applicable)
