About the role:
We are seeking a resilient and compassionate SEN Teacher to work with students whose educational levels may be impacted by adverse experiences or trauma. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a creative and flexible curriculum tailored to meet individual learning needs
- Encouraging practical, hands-on learning experiences that help students build confidence and overcome barriers to education
- Setting high expectations while supporting students achieve their academic and personal goals
- Work closely with a dedicated team to foster a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A compassionate and proactive approach, with an understanding the behaviour is a form of communication
- Experience or a strong interest in teaching students with special educational needs or additional barriers to learning
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual needs
- A commitment to teamwork, resilience and always putting the needs of students first
