About the role:

We are seeking a resilient and compassionate SEN Teacher to work with students whose educational levels may be impacted by adverse experiences or trauma. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a creative and flexible curriculum tailored to meet individual learning needs
  • Encouraging practical, hands-on learning experiences that help students build confidence and overcome barriers to education
  • Setting high expectations while supporting students achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Work closely with a dedicated team to foster a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A compassionate and proactive approach, with an understanding the behaviour is a form of communication
  • Experience or a strong interest in teaching students with special educational needs or additional barriers to learning
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual needs
  • A commitment to teamwork, resilience and always putting the needs of students first
