Exciting Opportunity: Supply Chain Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Site team and become a permanent member of a renowned Cornish business. Take this chance to make your mark in the role of Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and merchandise on-site.
  • Assist in stock rotation and optimise material use to minimise waste.
  • Place orders to avoid production delays and coordinate inbound deliveries with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular and accurate stock-taking and inventory checks.
  • Work with management to develop efficient production plans and schedules.
  • Generate production reports to support business decision-making.
  • Create purchase orders and handle administrative tasks as required.
  • Manage CHEP movements and ensure audit accuracy.
  • Coordinate the return of empty kegs with external customers.
  • Take on additional tasks as requested by the Directors.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Previous experience in buying and planning within the supply chain, particularly in Food & Drink or FMCG manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift use is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high seasonal demand.

Qualifications (Desirable):

  • Forklift License.
  • CIPS Level 4 or above.
