We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated Health and Social Care teacher ready to be part of an energeticteam who are eager to embrace new ideas. The successful candidate will have:

• An ability to teach across both KS3 and KS4

• A commitment to high standards of achievement, behaviour and attendance.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent classroom practitioner skills

Your role will include:

  • Planning and teaching
  • Assessing following the school marking policy
  • Promoting good progress and outcomes
  • Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
  • Managing behaviour effectively
  • Demonstrating good curriculum knowledge
  • Liaising with parents

Requirements for the role include being a committed and talented teacher who is able to promote the schools ethos and values. The school is looking for someone who is a caring and nurturing person, adaptable and flexible with your methods as well as resilient and patient with challenging behaviors.
