The Accountants Recruiter is looking for a part-time Senior Accountant / Practice Manager for a UK accounting firm.
Candidates should have experience in tax planning, client meetings, and various accounting tasks such as accounts production and tax returns.
The role requires previous experience in a UK accountancy practice and ideally an accounting qualification like ACCA/ACA/AAT.
The salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, based on a full-time equivalent.
Candidates should be organized, friendly, and able to work remotely, with a preference for those who can work from the office in Tunbridge Wells.

The Accountants Recruiter is actively seeking a part-time Senior Accountant / Practice Manager for an excellent accounting firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within a UK accounting firm that is looking for a remote part-time role.

Main duties will include:

Experience of tax planning for business owners
Comfortable client facing
Delivery of client meetings
Accounts production
Corporation tax returns
Self-assessment tax returns
VAT returns
Payroll
CIS returns
Bookkeeping
Will largely be reviewing of above but would need to be able to prepare where work capacity demands

Requirements

Ability to produce management accounts, cash flow forecasts would be a bonus - willingness to learn to deliver higher value meetings
Organised person
Friendly / likeable
Happy to work remotely but can work from office if local to Tunbridge Wells
Very few in-person meetings but may be necessary
Ideally hold an accounting qualification such as ACCA/ACA/AAT but may consider QBE
Experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE - please note this is the FTE salary
