Machine Operator

The Machine Operator is a full-time role, 45 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. The salary offered is £30,888 per annum25 days holiday plus paid leave for the bank holidays in a full yearA company sick pay scheme (4 days paid a year) Level 2 Bupa Healthcare Cash Plan cover from day 1 Juno wellbeing points can be redeemed on health and wellbeing products or services The role of the Machine Operator will be to manage setup, tune-up, and monitor semi-automated machinery to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness with minimal downtime.The ideal candidate would need to be hard-working, proactive, organised, with a passion for detail and quality, a good motivator of people and lead by example.The Role* Setting up the case packer/labeller machines ready for production.* Running routine maintenance of machinery.* Ensuring quality and productivity targets are met consistently.* Attention to detail and adjusting the machine as needed to improve Quality andmaintain line speeds.* Carry out in-process Quality checks at specified intervals and record downtime.* Full ownership of machine performance.The Candidate* Hands-on experience with machinery, an inner understanding of how machineswork, attention to detail, and a keen to learn with a can-do attitude.* Who takes pride in their work.* Good level of problem-solving skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a friendly team and a company that continues to go from strength to growing year by year.
