School Caretaker required in Tunbridge Wells

At Engage Education Services, we’re currently recruiting for a School Caretaker in Tunbridge Wells. They are looking for an experienced School Caretaker with experience managing a School campus.

This is a part-time role, totalling to 25 hours per week.

Our Engage Education Services team specialises in the placement of non-classroom-based staff including Administrators, HR, Finance and Facilities.

About the role

As a School Caretaker, you’ll be an experienced facilities professional who supervises work across the school with both external and internal contractors. You will have keyholder responsibilities and will be expected to:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

  • Dust and wipe down surfaces

  • Clean and sanitise restrooms

  • Empty trash cans and replace liners

  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap

  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces

  • Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

This is a full-time, temporary - permanent role.

  • Experience working within a school environment

  • A valid DBS on the DBS update service

  • Be available to interview and start immediately
