The role of Site Manager will support our Transport division in overseeing the cleaning of two train depots. You will be the most senior Manager on-site during the night shift and will oversee a team of 25 operatives to ensure agreed cleaning standards are achieved and maintained and all site / periodic spends come within budgeted working hours.

As Site Manager, you will:

  • Ensure target staffing levels at site are achieved and maintained at all times
  • Collate and process weekly payroll and HR information.
  • Train and manage site supervisors in Health & Safety and cleaning tasks
  • Ensure employees adhere to the Company Health and Safety procedure at all times
  • Ensure all KPI’s are completed by deadlines
  • Carry out quality inspections with the customer or their representative monthly
  • Recruit, develop and place cleaning staff
  • Maintain accurate staff records to include any leave and absence

As Site Manager, you’ll have:

  • A 5-year checkable work history
  • Awareness of COSHH, H&S and IOSH
  • Experience within a similar Cleaning Management role
  • Ideally exposure to cleaning of depots of trains / stations
  • A willingness to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos/work/aims of Churchill
  • Ability to multi-task with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations as required

You will also be required to undergo pre-employment and ad hoc medical and drug tests.
